Last updated 1/6/09		The National Millennium® was a project that Lindy Promotions Inc., a Maryland based special event planning company, first began working on in 1995. Our goal was to celebrate one of our planet's rarest and most historical occurances... the changing of a millennium!! Simultaneously taking place in Atlanta, Baltimore and Washington, The 1-800-CALL-ATT, National Millennium was expected to be one of the largest New Year's Eve events in the United States. Over 13,000 party goers in 3 cities experienced 4 millennium changes, as each venue broadcasted live, via satellite, on big screens and TV's, footage from all four US time zones. This allowed everyone in attendance to share in all four Millennium celebrations ultimately experiencing the Millennium four times!! This year, the tradition continues as we plan parties again in all three cities!
